The use of computer graphics and visual effects in Hollywood movie production is nothing new, but sneak-peeking under the magic curtain is nevertheless exciting! The extent to which visual effects are used in films that don’t seem to require them seems surprising until you realize how much time and money they can save for the film’s creators. Also, it is marvelous to see TV shows with sort of cinematographic and production quality that we usually only expected from feature-length movies.
These images shouldn’t destroy these movies’ and shows’ magic, but make you appreciate the film and the work of the people behind and in front of the camera even more. Just imagine how hard it must be for an actor to act like he’s on the high seas when he’s standing in a blue padded room!
